photoworld the sequel

I took the leave today to prowl photoworld once again for film hunting. I wanted to check what other film supplies are available within my reach and how I can get them without all them crazies running about and hoarding everything while I only wanted a roll or two.

Beside that, a dpp member asked me to inquire of some Ilford films in the event, which I obliged as I was looking for film as well. Moving on.

I didn’t have time in the morning since I left at around 10:30. I started my trek to meet with an old friend for lunch. The whole chit-chat of the program will remain on my personal blog. So I will just post pictures of the food :D

I had the pasta dish of golden crusted chicken, ham and cheese crepe, and angel hair pomodoro.

Jr had the Carbonara, he needed carbs for the Gym.

His treat for me. Nachos.

The lunch ended and I was back prowling film. I swung by Lucky and still no b&w, I bought one supercolor (roll #1).

I circled the whole mall 3 times looking for aperture and I finally found it (the tarp had their name on it at the bottom), I asked of their Ilfords (or the elusive Ilfords, if I may add) and Sir Frank was happy enough to make random babbles with me about film and photography and different techniques and methods while his friend and him ate peanuts and I talked about the crazies who hoard film :). I bought a roll of Ilford 100 which he gave me a sweet little discount which made me really happy.

But then something caught my eye…talk about the mother of old school cameras. It was one of those things that you haven’t seen much except for the old b&w films. Enticing. It was a large 5×7 panoramic camera…and boy was it good looking.

Tempting actually… :) I asked of the price, it seems reasonable enough, and…I had some monies…

Yummy

Uh-oh…(bai will kill me…)

Guess what I got a hold of bai…
