It was noon when we headed over to mines view to look at well, what else? the view. This place still stands as it is. I never saw the daredevil kids who would wave cups tied to sticks as people threw money over the ledge. Now it’s just a mess of souvenir stands, throngs of people and grilled eatables. I feel dejected.

This was one of the first few times I used the vivitar uw&s, and boy I was so happy when the pictures came out so grainy and happy looking. I remember Bai and I were so OA with that we brought most of his lenses and I just brought all my cameras down to the beach. :)

Well I was happy we did. Or I wouldn’t be getting something as pretty as that! ♥

lost in photoworld.

Sounds like some horrible rendition of a video game. But I was able to go to Photoworld this afternoon despite me getting irked from not being able to go tomorrow for the b&w seminar.

I got there around 5:30 in the afternoon. And was greeted by a throng of people milling around the activity center. Here were the Bigger exhibitors : Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Kodak, Olympus, Hp, Panasonic, and others.

And yes, poor me was once again enticed by the sparkly, shining film and bought a couple of rolls of Max Versatility,som e Ekta/Elitechrome (eek, bai will spank me for that o_o), and 5 rolls of prophoto.

I only brought these home for cooling.

*blushes. Av-1 and Vivi would be very happy. So would be Smena if it gets home. :)

I was trying to look for the dpp booth and I eventually found it when I saw the other booths set up at the walkways of Glorietta.

I saw Nino talking up storm with a bunch of other people in the booth. I was trying to catch his eye and he finally did.

We exchanged hellos and French-style kisses, and introduced me to a whole lot of people whom I obviously didn’t catch any of their names, He broke away from our conversation to continue on chatting with his guests, while I looked at the back issues.

When I found out it was only 150, I bought the black is back issue (for the love of black and white).

I have no actual photoworld photos except for the next one.

When the crowd died down, Nino sat on the carpeted floor of the booth. I sat down as well and we chit-chatted for a bit while people came and went :) I took a pic of us at the booth, and here’s the crappy result. :)

I met up with frank and jas after and we looked around, since I was waiting for the 7pm shuttle back to the office, I had to bid them a goodbye and waited for it.

Since the Digiprint booth was near the SM exit, I went back and chitchatted with Nino before leaving.

I’ll go back to take pictures on Monday or Tuesday. :)

The sun was shining brightly through the windows. Helen was just looking. 1 + 1 = 1 picture.

I was telling my teacher that if ever a good subject for the reader’s gallery will come out on the next issue, I would be contributing.

Yesterday, before the mishap, I was bouncing off the walls with excitement. as I read from the forum thread that the next topic will be : LOMO. Meaning FILM! Meaning omgzwtfbbqsauce and insert more random, excited, yakking here.

I’m going to say, this is my forte! because I really don’t think it is. But here’s the thing, ever since I got my hands on the film cameras, I was really hooked. And I’m not just talking about lomography, but just the general aspect of film itself.

I plan to make a contribution, and I have plans to be in that issue…

So, for the next 2 weeks, I will be busy bring around my vivitar, and maybe when Bai comes, have a shot at his lc-a :). I’m just really sad my smena won’t make it in time for the submission.
